Lovely 5 wish mine was that clean:)

Is it still running the standard 5 lump? As told with my one not to run over 360hp as rods are abit soft lol

Don't really want to spam this thread or start an argument, but surely can't be throwing that statement around on someone else's sales ad without extensive proof or backup!?

I'd urge anyone interested to do a little research instead, you'd be hard pushed to find many 5's that haven't been running that much boost/hp for extended periods quite reliably.

If you know Chris and his cars as I do you'll know how well they are looked after, and knowing the money that has been spent on servicing and putting things right you'll know it's an unplanned sale! Very capable well set up car for someone

Like above don't want to spam the thread but I owned an evo 5 for 3 years recently and spent a lot of time on the mlr forum,, it's not so much bhp that throws a rod but mainly the torque. They do say 400bhp is pretty much the limit on standard rods but as long as it's been setup correctly should be fine. Any performance car could throw a rod,, I've heard of evos throwing a rod at 350bhp, and I know that Russ at hq is known in the 'evo world' and very good at what he does.

By looking at this car it looks very clean and has the right bits on it, priced very fair as well. Tempted myself lol. Good luck, looks a good one, put it up on the mlr mate. Will get interest on there.

Lovely evo mate glwts it should be safe at 400 it is on the limit but as long as its mapped properly (by the sounds of it it has) it should be fine. I've always had a softspot for these.
