panda bear blur
Is the engine a piece of scrap if the belt lets go, or a case of popping a new belt on and away you go? Some reports say that the 4efe's a interference engine, others say it isn't! So yea, if anyone's belt went pop, I wanna know what happened. Somewhat playing Russian roulette with mine; it's on 53200 miles since the last change which was 13 years ago..

akyakapotter
Shouldn't do anything unless the head has been skimmed as these engines are non interference
morgey
^^^ this. Should be fine unless it's been skimmed. If youre not sure, Drop the plugs out and shine a torch in there n check piston tops for damage they'll prob just be black but if you can see shiney bits then their could have been contact.
