My n/a MR2 Roadster was only around 150bhp, but man was it fun on the corners, stuck to the road, even on terrible tires. I find a car that I can trust to get me around a corner more fun :).

I do agree with all over you here, nothing better then seing a 1.3 wipe the ass off some highly expensive motor, 200bhp is enough for me, even though that still costed money to get it to it let alone 300bhp + but like the topic of the convo states all boils down to a bit of paper with the queens head on

Pretty much the same man haha, im out almost every weekend, i drink far too much, enjoy the casino a bit too much, go on holidays and trips away, run an expensive daily etc. Having a good social life and hanging out with mates is far more important to me than sitting in the house being sad as fuck because saving up for a engine lol.

Although i do need to find a happy medium, been rejecting the 85 for a while now and would really like in on the road.

Yeaaaaaah buddy, its all about that alcohol partaking haha. Forgetting another think here too.. GIRLFRIENDS COST A FORTUNE.

So there's no trick to it no monthly payments you basically just save? I got a nasty habit of buying clothes going out every Saturday or generally scouting for bArgains just don't understand how people can get forged engines have a life still run the car etc on a part time wage or same as me 1k a month give or take :/ I will be taking so tips you've said though haha

Depends if you want it now, or save up and get it in X months. There's nothing stopping you putting it on a credit card and paying it off in the 0% bracket (If you have good credit history), This means you will have money coming out your account each month yes, but it's just the same as putting X aside to save for it.

As long as you can afford to pay a reasonable amount back per month then there's nothing wrong with using a credit card. I wouldn't use one if it's got a large % on top of it though.

Don't go out every weekend, Don't buy clothes all the time, Don't Drink/Smoke if you do

i was on 1k a month but just got a pay rise. my gt will have been off the road for 2 years, but its fully forged with quite a big spec list. doesnt matter if your minted or not....if you want to do it then do it. it will be worth it in the end
