EP91Lover Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Ive got a project on the go. Putting a different engine into a Glanza. Im going to do the Abs delete and want to remove the power steering. What would be the best way to do it? Any way i can mod my steering rack that I've got or will i need to change it? Quote
morgey Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Loop the lines. Fit electric pump. Replace with an non p.s rack (may or may not need column) Quote

That's it.. Quote
Chand Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I've been advised by tuner to pump gease in How hard is it to turn etc? Quote
Beastmode panda Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I've been advised by tuner to pump gease in How hard is it to turn etc? Well fuck the tuner lol mines been fine for nearly 2 years now. The rack will still have fluid in it to keep it lubed up. It's fine, as soon as you're moving it's pretty much like normal mate. Quote

Just strip the whole lot out til you get all the way to the sheering rack then you'll be left with 2 hard pipes, cut em down so they are eqal but stick out enough to get some braided hose and jibalee clips on. I'll take a picture for you as soon as I can mate. Quote
Chand Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 You haven't blanked anything What about the pipes which aren't hard pipes mate the feed to reservoir and the return from the pump? Yeah if you could do get some pics that would be great mate Quote
