Rob Scott
Yeah its a race car mod, plenty of room for a fuel tank up front.
MARC MOSS
Under the bonnet?
RobSR
Loads of people do it.. Most serious drag cars run this setup. I always thought it was abit odd but it is done often.
Rob Scott
yep, under the bonnetcan anyone answer the question i asked?
RobSR
Yea back to the original question i have no idea, hook up a gauge inline is my suggestion.
Rob Scott
no fuel tank in the car, and no guage, i'm sat infront of the computer 13 miles from the garage, and as so many people on here are experts in building race cars, then i thought somone might know the simple answerrrrrrrrr... MARC MOSS
What n/a setup are you using then? Surely standard pressure across the fuel rail can be achieved with a standard pump in the new tank??
Rob Scott
the tank wont be big enough to use standard pump, plus its got an inlet and outlet, so needs an inline pump.pretty much stock 5E
MARC MOSS
Hmmm in that case surely the standard regulator would sort the rail pressure then no? Didn't mean to sound rash earlier I just needed to understand what you ment. Taggy on here used a fuel cell, I wonder what pump he used ?
MARC MOSS
So if you say used one of thesehttp://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/fuel-pumps/high-pressure-external-fuel-pump-bosch-0580254909-replacementHas 3 bar capability and inline fitment, surely fitted to the standard reg all would be fine ??
