So I have had gt for over a year now and I think it had come on along way since owning it. Here a few picture of before and after.

Yeh defo what mani you getting mate?

My mate in guernsey is build me custome manifould. Almost done

I have to ask..why did you lob the top slam panel off?

The new manifould is very deep. Looked horrible when we test fitted to the car so out she came. I do believe they are not structurally. But replace it with this.

I think it is if you look where it all attaches upto and wouldn't remove it, there will be more flex without it. Atleast you've added that other bit back in :thumbsup:

The thing is it is so flexible I can not see it being structual. Have you ever rest on the slam panel? It seem to only be structual for the bonnet latch and I have areo catches now :) 😃

Yup it flexes but its tie'ing two sides of the car together..Its not about flex, its about stretch and they aint gonna stretch all that far. Each to their own, but i know ill be keeping mine in.

That's why I replaced it with the 3inch steel bar. You proberly have to keep your to able to get your MOT but we don't have that in guernsey so it is fine.

Like you said each to there own. It is becoming a hill climb car so it will be fine
