4efe gearbox on a gt turbo

My gear box in in shit shape (syncros), i can get a 4efe gearbox beside me for very little just would like to no would it hold up with 230bhp, thanks lads.

I've a gt box here mate in perfect condition you can have it for 50 if you can collect it dude I could do with it out of the garage tbh

All you can do is try it! They are shorter gear ratio's though

Yeah lad i might give it a go, it will be better than grinding the gears.

You might even like the ratios. I know one of the lads runs a 4efe box and he loves it for back road blasts

If its the same box thats in my 4EFE Corolla then the ratios are quite short, could suit a turbo car quite well. Are you TD04 ?

Yeah i might like it alright, i never really give it full pelt in 1st, am running td04 so could be interesting.

i had a corolla 4efe in my gt pulled fast short gears good for accleration uses more feul to !!!! 200/300 rpm higher to compared to gt box in 5th at 100kph

i destroyed my inputshaft bearing in 3 months

I was unknowingly running an n/a box on my glanza for about 2 years with no issues, I was only running 150bhp though
