Liam_D
I proper glanza doesn't need a emissions test, if they are doing a test on yours then they are doing it incorrectly
shaungt
Correct me if I'm wrong but up to 1992/3 you don't need a cat test but then they started doing cat tests and after 1995 you certainly need one if you can't find a exact engine engine number and it's between 93/95 for a cat test then it drops down to the pre cat test. After 1995 you should have a cat test? This is how I've understood the mot manual
5e colin
if you have a toyosports mani you could do this
DevonGT
Know your date of first use (on V5) and your know how it's tested. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/194133/Emissions_17th_Edition.pdf Edited August 9, 2014 by DevonGT
Liam_D
As far as I'm aware, if the engine code doesn't match up to a UK engine code than the car doesn't need a full emission test.
