corrrect me if im wrong steve but is the supercharger clutch driven sumhow making a mentol noise when you kick it off the throttle?????

think so, need to dip the clutch when you fire her up, otherwise she wont start.

I thought your sig was new Stevie... Is this "swannies" old supercharged Celica? When he had it it was only putting out 180'ish bhp I'm sure... I've always liked the car tho, sounds crazy!
