Big bad enemy to the east has been used by the media since WWII. This reminds me of that story in on of the papers a few years ago about how a neighbourhood in London had declared Sharia law, and they were going to spread through the rest of the UK and make us all religionuts or whatever. End of the day, though, we'll end up going in and then the news will switch to sensationalist headlines about HOW MANY BRITS WILL WE LOSE TO THIS CONFLICT? Fucking hypocrites, the lot of them. Personally being in scotland am not to concerned about a terrorist thread the last time the extremists tryed it on with scotland they bumped into our friendly local airport worker. they haven't tryed it with us again because despite how delusional the terrorists are when you have a bomb in your car and are on fire burning to death the Scottish reaction is to run over and punch the guy in the face for being a dick.
