BJShipley
So I was wondering if any work would need to be done on my Glanza to fit Rota Grid Drifts? I'm currently running TE37 replicas which are 16x6.5j and have no problem with rubbing. My problem is If I need to roll arches I'm buggered as I have LiveSport Overfenders all around :/ Cheers people! Bret.

fordie_glanzaV
nah im just grids on front of mine and grid vs on back...the drifts are alot more concaved. iddy had them on his yellow glanza... think you do need them rolled or wider front wings for the grid drifts thow. fordie_glanzaV
cheers mate. try keep it up together :-Ddo the livesports archers have a lip that sits over the original wing lip?cus only had to roll the lip up. BJShipley
I'll have to go and check again tomorrow. But If I remember rightly it sits level with the original arch lip. Which is the problem as I can't roll the fenders obviously Don't really know what to do.. Bret.
fordie_glanzaV
without seeing them its hard to tell.. only thing u could do with the grid v is run a lower profile than i did or have a bit of stretch
BJShipley
Yeah I could always run a little stretch on the Grid V's or drifts that's something I was thinking about. But to be honest I don't know much about alloy sizes or tyres though lol. So didn't know if it was gonna be possible at all.. Bret.
fordie_glanzaV
worth checking but the drifts are 15x8 so ull struggle wore with those. u know anyone local to urself with close sizes to u want so u could try them on.
BJShipley
So after a little think about it.. Will anyone be able to let me know if I'll be able to run any rota wheels without rolling the arches or If I'll be able to get away with lower profile tires? Or If I will with a bit of stretch? Thanks lads, Bret.

Matt1878
You can run any wheels at all without rolling the arches. It's when you look at 15x8 where you might start to roll arches. 15x7 and below would be fine with 195/50/15's

Glanza-Ben
15x8 et0 grid drifts on a gt with 205/50r15 tyres no issue
Matt1878
15x8 et0 grid drifts on a gt with 205/50r15 tyres no issue Stock suspension? Or a small drop though.. If it's going to be as low as his Glanza they won't fit
Glanza-Ben
Stock suspension? Or a small drop though.. If it's going to be as low as his Glanza they won't fitTrd shocks and springs obviously the front ain't low as no engine atm, but just set the coilys at the right height and won't rub
BJShipley
I think Gt's can have wider wheels without rolling arches from what i've read before? Now I've got to choose the wheels I'm wanting lol. I've got three options at the moment which are really sticking out to me. Bare in mind I have a Silver V which type of wheel and what colour you guys think will look the best. Rota Grid V's 15” x 7.0” 4x100 ET20 - Easy to source but becoming fairly common.. Genuine Ray Volk TE37 15" x 6.5" 4x100 ET37 Rare in 4 stud pattern, look awesome, very light. But will look the same as my car currently does and are pretty damn expensive! Enkei RPF1 15" x 7" 4x100 ET40 Look sweet but never seen them on a glanza? Found a few sets and I believe fairly light? Any other alloy you recommend? Thanks again, Bret.
