Adam M Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) Hi everyoneI have been a member of UKSO for a couple months now.Thought i'd write up my little journey so far Had allot of ups and downs with the car allready but i have to say i think it's the best car i have owned/driven.I bought the car as a *forged td04 with all supporting mods* came with a receipt for 9k of work . However i was driving home one day when i pinned it past a friend and ended up chewing a main end bearing. i brought it home and started disecting the engine to find all the internals was standard aswell as bearings/hg gone and also a cracked piston.I made the decision to buy a forged engine off a member here paul who had a sexy 300hp gt :-Dso anyway heres some pics of the build slowly being put together!Here is a pic of the engine bay when i first picked up the car:A pic of cleaning underneath , undersealimg and spraying a few bits chrome :Respraying the wheels :Hehe ;-DSprayed some bits insideThe engine then went boom so i removed the old :and starting putting some parts on the new forged motor :So a couple weeks later me and two mates decided to inject some life into her! :It all went smooth ! Only had to swap a couple sensors from old engine for the swap :-)New seats /wheel What she looksLike at the moment Will post some more pics when she is complete!I am waiting on getting her mapped at the moment at Tuning developments. Hoping for 270/280 horses :-D.Just had the gearbox rebuilt aswell as that was shagged 2nd/5th/reverse and all new bearings.Can't beleive how much money/work i've put into the car but it has made me so attached to her..i've never wanted anything so bad but to drive her again!
