Ep82 mk2

Got a ep82 mk2 no laquer peel on it at all I can see some very small patches starting to come on the roof how can I stop the problem before it gets too bad.

hard to stop once it's started i'm afraid. try a good wax and seal and avoid harsh cutting compounds.

A body shop should be able to re-laquer it though

mk1 and 2 always go on the roof for some reason i suppose these cars have to have some down falls

had two black gt turbos.both with roof laquer peel.

Mines got lacquer peel too! Likewise, no rust still

It happens to all cars. Wether it be paint flaking off, fading, laquer peel.... Etc.

The paint has been exposed to UV sunlight, acid rain, snow, tree sap etc.

For at least 21years.

Could be a coincidence, but the majority of people I know that own Jap cars have 'JDM lacquer peel'. Even a 60 Plate Rav4 and 10 plate Spec C.
