gorganl2000 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 http://www.s314kba.co.uk/leaderboard/ Results No. 12, 24, 30 Billet TD04 Hybrid will see you over 300bhp on stock cams... thanks for the response Quote
Socks Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 you can have the godzilla kit with any gt/x28 or 30R turbos mate. i would say go for either gt/gtx28. will make plenty of power. we just tuned another members car last Thursday (5e+gt28)..made 351whp@2.2bar on pump fuel (stock head). gt30 will make more power...but gt28 is quicker spooling and for most people..more than ample. Wasn't aware you offered the Godzilla kit with any other turbos.... But yeh GT28 based turbos is as big as people should go on a 4e imo Quote

ryan22laird Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Fitted my new kit today top mounted GT2860RS hybrid turbo what's people's opinion on this ? Will be getting mapped on a power fc with stock cams does anyone know when this turbo starts spooling up on full boost ? Quote
maddox710 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 What is you designated boost pressure because it takes a certain amount of time for a turbo to spool from say 1bar to 2bar I'd say to see 1. 2bar it's near enough 5k maybe a little less Quote
AdamB Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Depends on a lot of factors like fuel used, ignition advance, exhaust size, compression ratio etc list goes on and on. But I would expect it to make 1 bar around 3900rpm ish. Edited January 7, 2015 by AdamB Quote
