FrozenJakalope Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Is it possible to run an AFR gauge off the stock lambda sensor? Or would I need a wideband? Quote
_shaun_ Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Depends if it's a wideband afr gauge. You can get cheap narrow band afr gauges that would work with the stock lambda but they just show lean/rich there's not really any point in having one it doesn't show enough info Quote

nikhilkamdar12 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Not really worth it like _shaun_ says. Narrow band sensors read from 0-1v and widebands read from 0-5 giving a much bigger range for the reading. Better of just getting a wideband kit like a Innovate or AEM and get a true reading Quote
FrozenJakalope Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 Cheers for the answers guys was idle curiosity really, I was toying with getting a pillar 2 gauge pod but only have the one gauge to go in (tacho) and what with it being an N/A I genuinely don't need any others. AFR was the only even slightly useful one I could think of. Quote
Ollieh17 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Afr is probably one of the ones id worry about least on a n/a water temp or oil pressures would be high up the list Quote
RobSR Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Why would you not worry about afrs, its one of the most important. They are all important within their own right. Quote
