roundie69
Completely agree , just haven't had time for the track, I don't street race I just have a play now and again, nothing wreckless. I do prefer it on the Lower setting, you can throw it around more, I do think 350-400+ plus is far to much to be honest but the way it's set up you can put it down and not smoke the tyres cause off the boost control. The only think I love about the higher setting is that it accelerates hard and feels like 2 nd gear even in 4th and 5th :-)
roundie69
Reference fast street car vs track ... Not sure , you can't push as hard as you could on a track but over 400 bhp and I do think you could quite easily go through gear boxes and shafts as it would be co stan not short blips. I will say tho that race tech have build a very solid car. Everything has limits tho
goldenvtr
any recent videos ? Phil sadly not as i didn have my go pro with me on my last trackday, but here is the most up to date video (3 years ago lol) was running 320ish bhp - for comparison the evo had just over 440 according to the owner... but i think it was more like 400 >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq68dgo_I7cReference fast street car vs track ... Everything has limits tho on a track youll probly have more mechanical sympathy on the driveline if driven propely, on the road its easy to kil gearbox's . ive stripped 3 gear 3 times, 2 glanza box's and 1 gt box, both happen on the road havin "fun" but on track ive never had an issue. looking at racetech work im sure they done a bang on job i spent 45mins on track before i was too tierd to continue and had to pits stop - time jusy flys... back when i first started and did thing on the cheap, 10mins on track would rape the car get a vid up then Edited May 30, 2015 by goldenvtr

roundie69
Yeah I've thrown a lot of money into my car as have most other people so there would never been any point in selling the car. That goes really well by the way especially when you consider the Evo is 4wd you already have a massive disadvantage. Nice driving
