hey new to this... i fitted a spuercharger to my toyota starlet its 1998.. its a 4efe none turbocharged engine... when i put the throttle down the car dies and like chokes... like its getting to much air and not enuff fuel...... anyone no what the problem is or what do i need thanks

Are the pipes collapsing when you open the throttle causing it to choke itself? You need hard piping wherever possible.

naw... ive the full intercooler kit its a stainles steal pipes i have..

Map sensor is detecting positive pressure and your probably hitting a type of fuel cut. You need piggyback or standalone.

You'll probably find that the supercharger is producing boost way earlier than a turbo would so the factory ecu isn't mapped to supply correct fuel/timing in those load cells.



Have you had a wideband on it to see whats going on?

Just talk to whoever you will be going to for the tune - they will have a preference on ecu or hopefully a range of options.



Can depend on your budget too - but engine management is not something you want to scrimp on
