starlet charged Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 hey new to this... i fitted a spuercharger to my toyota starlet its 1998.. its a 4efe none turbocharged engine... when i put the throttle down the car dies and like chokes... like its getting to much air and not enuff fuel...... anyone no what the problem is or what do i need thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Stu Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 You'll probably find that the supercharger is producing boost way earlier than a turbo would so the factory ecu isn't mapped to supply correct fuel/timing in those load cells.
