A grey import if declared manufactured before 1996 and can't be found as an EXACT MATCH on the emissions tester database is to be carried out as a non cat test. From (reg from 31 July 1995 i believe)Make sure the CAT you get is in good condition and the car gets a good run before its MOT tested.Also make sure your engine is running normally and youve no exhaust blows, not burning oil, no leaky injectors, blocked air filter etc because even with a CAT you can still fail emissions.Best of luck, MOTs are a cunt :/take it someplace else, slip the tester an extra £20, or a crate of beers, 9/10 it works.Or if this works then Jackpot!
