Coxxy_94GT Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Can someone explain how my old starlet ( pretty much standard apart from a cat back and a filter ) was louder spooking up and fluttering than my current gt ( lots of mods but the main ones effecting noise , full decat , screamer pipe ,tdo4 running 1.4 bar and relocated filter on a short pipe ) . Doesnt bother me just was thinking about it and to me it would make more sense if my current gt made louder turbo noises running a bigger turbo with more boost and no restrictions in the exhaust :S Quote Link to post Share on other sites

5T4R7ET N/A Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 Ct9 seem to flutter pretty loud, as the noise is higher pitched than the td04. A long steel pipe to the air filter will create a bigger echo so it will probably make it a bit louder. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
