Dansstarlet1996 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 as above, whats the best performance pads and discs available that will fit standard calipers etc, looked at EBC Greenstuff, but dont know if theyre any good? any good ones? Quote
Amjad Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Standard calipers work with GT/Glanza discs and carriers, great cheap upgrade. I used Reds which were decent enough Quote
Ollieh17 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 EBC stuff is shit i have found and heard Quote
morgey Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Id opt for ferrodo ds2500 or mintex 1144 over ebc personally. But if its for just road use ebc will be fine.As above with turbo carriers and discs. Again its fine for road use but any heavy track work and even turbo stuff wont really cut it. Quote
Dansstarlet1996 Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 its my daily so doesnt need to be huge stopping ability tbh, but as I've up the power a little and the handling is better it just feels abit lacking in the braking department in comparison, so use glanza carriers and discs to up the stopping power abit? Dansstarlet1996 Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 do you need glanza pads aswell to fit the carriers? or will they fit with normal NA pads, (dont know if theres any difference!) Quote
fiddlersport Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 blue print oem replica pads, cheap and cheerful Quote
Pikey009 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I've found Ebc to be shocking in the past mate I've given them a chance on a couple of cars in the past and they were useless. That was following the massive run in times you're meant to give them too. As said above, mintex or ferrodos mate Quote
Dansstarlet1996 Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 okay, il look into those then, and il avoid EBC! Quote
Amjad Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I found Yellow to be superb with my GT4 brakes Quote
Pikey009 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Snap and found them dog turd That was on a gt4 though so a little heavier Quote
