Sparkythestarlet
Hi guys my starlet is in need of a new rad but I was wondering what better replacements are there to replace it that's better than standard? I know Idworkz do a rad and you can put civic rads in them but I would like more info about the civic rads or any other good alternative? Cheers Ben
Gainzy
You can go for civic rad which saves alot of room and does the job, I like big thick front stock size rads you can get zep from rhd Japan or koyo tuning developments sell them, jperformance rad you can even use cheap ep91 non turbo rads to save cash there around £40. Most people go civic rad but I don't like them lol
Calum122
Sparky has a UK spec I think? I needed a rad cheap and bought a JPerformance one. For what you pay you can't really fault them. Cheap, cheerful and looo good. They do the job well.
Gainzy
I have a spare rad if you need a quick fix works fine
Arnold
I bought a "standard" glanza radiator from the Facebook group which turned out to be a standard UK one. It's about 10cm shorter and also thinner. Not sure if it's suitable for the job! So just be wary the sizes are different

Good old facebook group again sounds like a bunch of cranks on there.

Cheers BenEbay - civic radiator, ive ran one on every starlet ive had. Had a triple core once but they are a bit overkill tbh. Then get a mount kit from JD Tuning on here, unless you like cable ties..
patman
Just a quick question on these eBay civic rads are they dual core or just really skinny things, but do they hold temp well etc, been debating about getting one for ages and have mounts already

Fan very rarely even kicks in at all with them. Only thing i found was in the winter the heaters took an age to get warm due to how effective the radiators are. patman
Can you use your own fan on them please Daniel, you know the fans what come with the standard rads and do you have a link please to the best but cheapest one

Does this drop straight In? as I have inadvertently done just that and ordered a normal aspirated radiator, it's arrived and wondered whether it would fit my starly turbo or have to send it back.
