sosolid
So i found another oil leak. When i park up the car leaves a drop of oil right underneath the timing belt cover and so when i look underneath the bottom of the cover is covered in oil. I changed the cranshaft seal 4 years ago so could it be that or something else?
Ollieh17
Could be rocker cover. Spent ages driving to fix oil leaks on my 4e. Fighting a Losing battle, 4efte is about as useful as a sieve for keeping oil

DavidAshton
Rocker cover for sure, get a proper Toyota gasket, I tried an off the shelf and it leaked even worse.
GP82
Yeah clean off all the leaking oil completely then run the engine up and just look to see where it is leaking from. Good luck.
sosolid
So i looked round the rocker cover and its bone dry. the leak seems to be coming from underneath the timing belt cover. I cleaned all the old oil and drove it for 30 mins and looked under and the bottom of the cover is wet. Ive changed the crank seal about 4 years ago i say. What else is under there that can leak now that it leaves a spot everywhere i park?
carson230
Its most likely the crank seal again, or it could be the sump
TimD
Could be a cam seal, have you had the top part of the cover off to check?
