  1. good luck with it Geo, I couldn't wait to get out of college myself and get working, rather have money!
  2. There is a pic up there of it might relocate my foglamp sometime, think it'll leave a hole in my bumper where it is now though
  3. Thats cool mate, it's not my car just my opinion, ultimately you can do what you like, and you should please yourself not others, in response though... Fair enough on the wipers, but I still think just normal black would be better, as they stand out a bit, how about painting them? I can see the TOMs bit now, just looked random before and I couldnt make it out, it's probably better in life then the pics You might need to prepare the mesh better to spray it, but it is hard to prepare mesh to be honest, degrease etc better off buying it - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/black-aluminium-mesh...1QQcmdZViewIt
  4. I am also interested, I've only seen it at shows, but granted I've not looked about for it anyway
  5. does anyone know if the mounting holes are the same in the ep91/82 door card? mainly for the bottom pocket on there so i could fit a ep91 pocket instead of a 82 also can we have a general technical section, i couldnt put this in any other thread, as its just engine, suspension, part #s or bodywork there.
  6. I never noticed the leather seats... we'll find out on friday mate for sure.
  7. I am also interested in the red reflector question nice GT mate, but I've told you that enough times already
  8. It's very different, I'll give you that, and there is a lot to comment on, but I'll give that a go... Dont like the silver window wipers dont like whatever writing is on the sunstrip area like the indicators, and the mesh on grille don't like the bumper (was undecided at first, but having a closer look, it does seem too much) Love the sideskirts Not keen on the mesh on rear bumper, if it was back it would be better dont really like the rear caps (but generally dont like them anyway) unsure on the rear light colour Its not bad I suppose, I would remove the circle in the centre where the toyota
  9. good attempt, I don't think it looks that great though to be honest, I saw a GT with glanza sidekirts which looked good though, don't suppose someone could do the glanza rear bumper on a GT could they? I'm more serious about doing that, the front bumper was more for interest.
  10. mate, if you want turbo advise, its best to o to toyotagtturbo.com for a front mount, you can get a large one off a guy called pete (username:patbeemer) for £400 but you need to remove your air con. or you can get it from a guy called sacha (username:WickedEP) he'll sell them for $580ish I think and its smaller and you keep the air con. both prices include postage too. you can also get a blitz kit for £800ish but the hoses arn't up to much and as I mentioned those alternatives above arn't branded, but apparently of very high quality, I plan to go for a WickedEP myself in the
  11. I used to have a baileys, just sold it on eBay for £30. now have a SSQV, thy are £250 new with fitting kit, but I gotmine from eBay for £120 and needed a fitted bracket which was £15 again from eBay. both sellers were based overseas, one in malaysia one in canada. it works out cheaper then buying one here in the uk
  12. I wasn't really considering it myself, just wondered what it would look like! i saw lockys, but it was not in a matching colour, and had aftermarket splitter on, which looked too aggressive and mismatched. but as standard they could match. I wouldn't have thought the mounting holes of bumper would be that different? or the size.
  13. never knew they did a SUV starlet, looks pretty cool actually.
  14. as per the title, can anyone do it? I was just wondering about the idea, and if it would look good, might freshen up the ep82 a bit.
  15. Any mates of mine either have a poor car I'm not interested in, they wanna drive my car! or they have a flash car, so won't let me anyway. Family is all boring too. Might go down ford and ask to test the fiesta st or toyota for whatever is their fastest celica.
  16. Is a pretty cool feature, I am grining too with it knowing I now have a mag featured car despite it being virtually standard only snag is they said the engines were 1342cc and SOHC on everyone lol, and on mine they put aftermarket ECU and front mount intercooler under engine mods, despite blatently not having either, I said it was a future mod and they even wrote that in the little section on my car. I am also gutted I have a slower 1/4mile time then matts by 0.01 seconds! once again, big thanks to geo for organising it
  17. hardly anything... learnt in a 03 Fiesta (prob a 1.1) and practised a bit more in a 00 1.4 Corolla had a pair of 1.4 Saxo's then a starlet GT 1.3turbo i really need to go out test driving cars more!
  18. Looks pretty nice, I would have prefered a set of glanza headlamps, but at least it's different that It's tidy.
  19. Owned in Japan for 10 years (not sure on owners there) came on about 70k km. first guy bought it to sell it on here (he actually got 2, but my one was the nicer of the 2), but ended up keeping it for 9 months. Lad before me had it 3 months, then decided to sell because he got offered a golf for a good price. I got it on 81k km its now on 89k km had it 6 months now and still very much in love i've spent the same amount on it as what I paid for it originally now too!
  20. that's ok, I'm gonna buy like 5 copies anyway
  21. lol, never seen a speaker fitted in a glove box before, cool idea. takes a lot more effort to make door pods, its one annoying thing about the starlet
