  1. Horses for courses

If I'd a big budget and lived close enough to get everything custom made and didn't mind being a wee bit out of control then I'd use racetech in a way it's not possible to use a company like WEPR.

But I don't have either the budget or proximity

So I use Sacha at WEPR lol

  2. I'll be running a gtx2871 and I'm hoping to really push it on to around 1.8 bar or so.

The cams are 270/280 degree intake exhaust with 8.7mm lift.

Engine is now in and running, slight oil leek on the belt side but that's handy fixed thankfully.

Turbo is a bit on the big side but hopefully the 0.5mm headgasket will help spool it.

If you can get up to that boost she will make 400+ Karl

    Proper weapon 👍

    Loving the updates

  3. Congrats Phil, car looks really dialed in, got any idea what your going to further do to improve the setup, or is it a case of leaving it and enjoying it

    The list continues

    Ferodo ds3000 pads

Fresh front wings and re-roll them

Fuel swirl pot and external pump

    New wheels slightly wider

    Custom radiator

Change to a Lucas race oil

Finally got a class win after a number of second places!

I've updated my build thread with some info about the day but always like to throw these in here aswell.

This was my first timed run and I ran out of fuel Just before the last chicane so lost a half or so. But I then failed to record my next few runs

Had fuel surge at the end which cost me some time but still set a good time.

Ended up with 1st in class which was nice as I've never had a win at a sprint before.

    Now some pics

    So scrutiny to start

New steering wheel added to the bucket seat made driving her abit different in a good way

Stopped off at my dads after and took a quick snap of the equipment, maybe having the trailer allowed me to push that bit harder

Maxsport tyres worked well in soft compound hit decent heat in the fronts and the rear didn't go completely anywhere.

Two more events left only a point in it for the championship.
