Not much they cant do. Even have an android app so you can bring up any gauge for monitoring on you phone, as well as tweeking maps and All other settings from it.

The software is easy to use and theres heaps of how2's on the above websites forum

A good post regarding Megasquirt, these threads usually descend into 'jam plug and play worked for me' shenanagins lol

Aye some have had them do them well, some people fit them like tits and wonder why they crack running high egts on an fcd set up. I didn't pay anything for it, and it done me very well indeed. I just bolted it up nice and square new brass nuts, and heat wrapped very carefully!

i had a toyosports mild steel one with ewg flange, held the weight of td05 for around 4-5 years with no cracking. lol.

cant argue with that experience! bet you enjoyed all the toyosports slabbering while you drove away happily at your exgated setup!!

Get it on there and mapped, the extra lag will be the only downside

If you get the vf turbo on there, what would hold you back?

Injectors big enough to flow 300hp region?

Ignition alright plugs tight enough for the boost?

Clutch setup game for a power hike?

Compression sensible enough so as to not make the tuners job impossible on big boost?

But as has been mentioned speak to your tuner, He might be a link or haltech or whatever dealer and tuner.

All about getting the right compromise between tuner location and price as almost all good Ecus are super at what they are meant to do.

I made great power on speedvision cams, when the car was first built up but couple years in the engine and they started pitting terribly.

Sam s. Good guy and seller but those particular cams I wouldn't be buying again.
