    Ive also heard stories about magazines writing a load of rubbish but Simon took a lot from my build thread, Fair enough he didnt know too much about starlets but he did a fair bit of research about them, i was happy with my feature, who's gona say no to a feature when they get asked?

    blitz dual solenoid, rock solid boost control.



    very very worthwhile piece of kit.



    had one before would love another. so simple to use aswell.




    anyone in the market for the best budget boost controller this is the model your looking for.

    Yeah it does say it's not even a starlet in the article so it's never gospel but it doesn't take anything away from Ryan's work.

    agreed not to take anyhting away from the owner at all, just that the writers take serious liberties repeatedly to make something sound that little bit more dare i say it, abnormal.

    they are writers first, tuning purists second at best, usually not even that.

    Got all the info to add it to the leaderboard now... APART from Fuel...

    EP82 / 5E-FTE / Forged / 438.8bhp / 347lbft / TD06 / 1.8bar

    There is no way it was on pump fuel.. or vpower... It has to have been on race fuel... Or a Meth Mix...

    Hence why when it was brought up and asked several times in that thread^ it was ignored. lol...

    Question is.. What octane, meth, nos was used?

    Yup 100% he never addressed what was used on that run.

    But octane was less than 120 i thinky,

    assumed from the fact he sneakily mentioned maybe trying it next time :)

    and dont forget, the magazine writes WHATEVER it wants.



    maybe in this instance Ryan is happy with the article, but in many cases people get slagged and laughed at by their peers for things they didnt say, information they didnt give and slogans/headlines they never suggested/wrote.



    friend did an article yonks ago, and they took the liberty of saying that he was the first person to start importing starlets to Ireland lol or something as equally ridiculous.



    i wouldnt put to much weight on the words written about an owners car in a mag bar those within quotations.

    hmm, ive an apexi NI backbox that would be quieter and smaller than your blitz, looks similar to the HKS silent hi power backbox.



    it should bolt straight on to the rest of your blitz system.

    I used CCM, I know that Chris Carson is well out of your way over here in Northern Ireland, but if we are talking about starlet build his name has to come up at some stage :)



    He is helpful knows his stuff guru style and can do everything on the car from spanner work through to wiring and mapping.



    wouldnt use anyone else. until he tells me to get lost that is lol
