  1. Worth mentioning that if you need a venue I can clear a space in the garage for a few days lads. More than happy to help out if you are stuck. Think I've still got a 4efe headgasket that Phil gave me for nothing. Too far in to give in now lol.
  2. Get your ass to Halfar. Just follow the noise and tyre smoke, really enjoyed the trips down there with the Zisco crew!
  3. Doesn't want to leave the snug warm garage Phil. She's pulled that trick before lol. If you need any assistance in getting the baby shifted to her new home just shout. After all, you assisted in getting my baby to it's new home. No towrope this time though - I have faith in the Brothers Evans!
  4. Looking like the weather is improving for us so if anyone fancies calling down we'll be in the main paddock at Kirkistown from 10/11 till 5/6 tomorrow. Will be plenty of metal on the track to watch
  5. Just bumping this up for next Sunday, hopefully we get the weather we have today. Kirkistown might actually be warm for a change! Call in, watch some track action and enjoy a bit of banter folks. Jay
  6. Cheers lads, this might actually push me to do the headgasket on the bloody thing lol.. Thank you for all the votes - the competition was of serious standard so I'm as surprised as anyone. Jay
  7. A fresh 4EFTE is usually the easier route. In terms of time, effort and budget a rebuild might not be your ideal solution. It's a days work instead of a weeks work. Costly lesson unfortunately mate.
  8. Is this the one that Cormac was telling me about last week?
  9. More pics can be found here mate : http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=7&catid=member&entryuserid=9
  10. Cheers buddy, I had the Livesports kit fitted with just the mk1 front bumper and it didn't look right. Searched for ages trying to find something suitable. Ended up with this which fits in with the overall look of the car (I think anyway!) I don't even know anyone who sells this shape of lip for the mk1 bumpers mate. I took a mk1 bumper minus the stock lip and a Livesport mk2/3 splitter and handed them to Aidan of EP Styling. Told him to do his worst and he surprised me with this creation.
  11. Had the same hassle myself. Ended up getting a custom one made from a mould of the Livesports mk2/3 splitter to suit the mk1.
  12. Cheers lads, they came out better than I thought, must try a few different approaches next time though as my shots are getting a bit 'samey'. Always good to experiment! Next meet is looking like June 16th at Kirkistown if that sounds agreeable? There's a Trackskills day on so there should be plenty to watch on track. We'll just park up in the paddock and watch the madness unfold. A days tracktime is around £100 ish if anyone is feeling adventurous and Wee John & Ted should be out in the track MR2 as well. Lining up to be a good days craic! Jay
  13. Here we go chaps, Would just like to thank everyone who made the trip down to sunny Newcastle for another NorthStars meet. Special thanks go to Chris for arranging the Belfast side of things and Andrew (Hookie) for sorting out the Newcastle end of the meet too. Excellent work chaps! Without further ado here are the pics! Following the smoke signals: Autobot: Rare to see a SR at our meets, this is Jamie's: A nose or two: Ted's MR2: Hookie's snowplough: Marc just got his first V the night before: Marty's V: Iain's V: Looks like Marty's
  14. Will make it if I can chaps. Thinking of a Kirkistown gathering once June/July rolls in so something before then would keep the momentum going hopefully!
  15. It's not over till we hear a big girl singing. Cue Phil bursting into Master of Puppets..
  16. Only had to drive 800 miles to get that shot. Worth every second just for the scenery!
  17. No shocks worth selling unfortunately. Would have a poorly pair of genuine TOMS skirts in the corner of the garage though. They need a serious bit of attention so would be quite cheap. I shall put your 'dibs' on them until you can send a delegate to inspect them.
  18. Building more than breaking chap which is a nice way to be! Hit me up with your wishlist and I'll see what I can do.
  19. About frickin time. I wanna see some boost-induced grins chaps!
  20. Cracking turn out despite the weather. Best thing is today was bloody fantastic weatherwise. Missed the sunshine by a day! I think an outing to Kirkistown is next on the cards, just everyone pick a (warm) Sunday that Trackskills is on and park in the paddock. Perfect venue as there will be plenty to watch on track even if you aren't taking part. Jay Tom (tomsgtadvanced)
  21. Don't fret too much, he'll check the site tomorrow no doubt. Thread if anyone needs it: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?103649-another-belfast-bangor-meet-anyone All welcome, even Alfas Philius
  22. 100% fine buddy, I'll be in the completely spotless and pristine* black Livesports GT. You'll be amongst a good selection of the North Stars! *Complete fabrication - it hasn't been washed since October I think..
  23. Shouldn't be a bother Chris, everyone is welcome, if you can get there I can drop you back round home afterwards if no one else can. Browntrout on TGTT is handling the bookings so if you give him a shout he can get you a spot on the grid.
  24. There's a group of 13 of us booked into Room2Race at midday, if you want a seat booked let me know asap. Failing that we will be hitting the carpark outside at Eddie Irvines after 2pm and cruising to an as yet undecided location for some photos and some banter. The more the merrier.
