I have a relocation kit but have span the alloy pipe downward and have a small k&n filter tucked away in the front bumper next to the Intercooler

I cut the lip at the bumper bracket with a grinder and then rolled them, gave the lip a good coating of tiger seal where the paint had flaked inside the arch l, bit of heat jobs a gooden

Had the same problem, it was the release bearing, swapped it out for an genuine bearing and it was all good

Stored mine outside for a year while I was away. Just got the old dear to fire it up every so often and left it in gear with the handbrake off, didn't bother covering it either.
