  5. screamers all working now, running 0.3 less boost but much faster and more responsive now with the WEPR power up kit. Will get some vids of ct9 screamer soon
  6. yeh thats what i've done. Just not sure about the turbo, the one on it now ive blanked both the flanges off. But one of the threads in my spare turbo is shagged.
  7. gonna swap the turbo out tomorrow. Currently have no water lines to the turbo. Would it be okay to leave the water line flanges open on the new turbo or do they HAVE to be blanked?
  8. I'll love it when it works. Better be worth it!

    Ct9 turbo

Local to gloucester, thinks mines dead and only have cash
  16. Think turbos blown! Alot of oil in the pipes and no boost after removing everything
  17. Not really no, doesn't appear to woosh at all. Will have to take it all off and inspect everything at the weekend
  18. and me, and it's really starting to annoy me haha. If the wastegate was leaking at all e.g at the manifold flange or spring always open etc this would be apparent by noise? If there is a boost look after the turbo this would be apparent by noise also? Unless massive and not so noticeable? If its neither of these the turbo must be shagged
  19. yup, put it on the wrong way round the first time, but swapped it. The ring is tapered, with the smaller end in the wastegate and the larger end flush with the manifold.
  20. 8-9psi one. Yup vac hose from the turbo housing to bottom port of wastegate. Have tried it with and without the vac hose
  21. It appeared to be sealed well while off the car. With the wastegate fully open previously and the creep on ct9s id thought it still boost high partly shut!
  22. Thinking if it was a boost leak though i'd hear it? It would have to be pretty big to get no boost? If anything before the turbo was blowing surely that would make a obvious noise also? Other option is I only welded the actuator bracket shut not the actually wastegate flap on the turbo. Could it be this is leaking massively (previously ported)?
  23. Sports cats are silly money compared to a straight decat thats the only issue. Being parked behind a car can also damage cars bodywork the same way as a side exit surely?
