  3. tbh you have to thrash the fuck out the mx5 to get it to go anywhere, get a 200sx, you can get a decent learner one for a grand and thats got the power there from stock. sr20det too :D
  4. If you want it to last a year, and actually protect it too, get a coveryourcar storm force one. Look epic and fit perfect!
  5. Haha yeah, I won't be using it untill end of Feb/early March anyway, so just ready for then It can't come quick enough

  10. That's what they say when giving a quote (I'm not convicted or got points, so must be good for mods) Also just noticed I get legal cover, windscreen cover, courtesy car... BONUS!
  11. I wish Elephant don't like mods try someone else mate
  12. Acorn gave me the best quote for adding the Trubocharger mod Bussey, try them I'd rather not say my age, a lot of people judge on age and I dislike that
  13. Just been on a few comparison sites, added all my mods (and soon to be mods) ready for my insurance renewal and was happy with the price. Looking through the declaring mods list and there are some seriously stupid things you can choose... For example: Decals/Stickers Side Stripes Badges Indicating Increased Performance I think it's just plain stupid really, so a pissed off cop could pull you over "oh ello ello what do we have here (chav in 1.0L lupo)" "what seems to be the problem officer im fully insured" "no this "VTEC INSIDE YO" sticker invalidates your insuranc
  14. Got offered a Norbar 200 today for £50 of a work mate! I was shocked because I was under the assumption it was used (I had bought it from him and put it in my car already) then I took it out the case when I got home just now and it's brand new! I was literally just looking for a new one when this thread came up too, bonus :D mmmmmmm
  15. Same on any forum you go on mate, this is one of the better ones.
  16. yeah was thinking the same, or have it going underneath like Socks' one, I think he has it like that
  17. Hi, I'll be going down to TD soon, to have a turbo conversion on my starlet, I don't want to have them cut my front bumper to fit the inter cooler in, I'm presuming its a straight exit type or angled down exit type which they have, which may (it may not) cause the piping to dip below the bumper too, which is also a problem. Does anyone know where I can get a "backdoor interooler" / "type 4 intercooler" from? Like this one:- I know that'll mean I need to get the piping to match a TD04 too, but I'd rather have to do that then a cut bumper & pipes hanging below the bumper.
  18. Draper tools are shit. Buy snap-on or Norbar. Loads on ebay just take your pick. (If you go for Norbar, get the style with the red strips down the handle, not the other types) Used one here- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-SNAP-ON-TORQUE-WRENCH-QT2FR100-3-8-drive-20-100-ft-lb-Flex-Head-/171225053522?pt=UK_Measuring_Tools_Levels&hash=item27ddcef952 Norbar one,not known by a lot of people. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Norbar-13046-Torque-Wrench-Adjustable-Industrial-Ratchet-1-2in-40-200-N-m-/370926921342?pt=UK_Baby_BabyFeedingUtensils_EH&hash=item565cf7a67e
  19. Use a PH neutral shampoo and make sure it's not scalding hot water in the bucket, that'll make sure the wax stays on, for longer
  20. If they want to be picky and do a sound check, then you may have a problem. I don't know what the public exhaust noise limit is though :/
