  1. its alot easier to do it with the glanza looms, straight plug and play if its a pre 96 n.a

  5. thnak you antonio, the other engine is still in bits so you can have a butchers when your back And yes, some bits will be kept "hush hush" haha Also, got the sump on and sealed yesterday, took longer than required as when i went to put the oil pickup/sieve thing on, there was 2 sheared bolts in there! so had to get them out
  6. even though they are the same paint codes, doesnt mean the colour will match perfectly, due to different ages of paint, and how its been looked after etc..

  12. some pics of the FTE strip down.. As i need to swap the engine on the stand over with the running one (which i cant do on my own ) i decided to give the inlet mani a quick refurb, so everything is looking fresh when the engine finallys goes in Cleaned, primed, painted & lacquered
  13. like others have said, clean everything up, WD40 works well on stuff like that.
  14. quadlight 82's have projectors so defo on them, they passed mot in my 91, so cant see why not.

  18. havent updated this in a while...still cracking on with the glanza wiring looms, and have come to a few probs...as mine is a 98, the fuel pump plugs and a couple of other bits and bobs dont hook up to the glanza interior loom, but they would if i had a 96 n.a, so need to hunt down a few more wires...apart from that, the loom is basically in.. i got sicalns old fte ages ago that need quite a few bits on it, and ive finally got another buggered fte to swap the bits over from, got an engine stand today, so got it on that and started stripping it down etc.. finally, on sunday im getting my new w
  19. no, ive already said theres a good chance it wont sort it, (which it hasnt) if you read my post earlier you would of seen that i said, you can fit a restrictor ring in the exhaust instead.
  20. taken from your other thread about it being laggy, its because youve set the actuator arm so long, the wastegate flap isnt closing, shorten it, so the flap closes.

    yes fish has got ecks old V, about the 82, couple of bits went wrong with it (clutch), was too unpracticle for an everyday car, so broke it for parts, brought a Hybrid GT4, and is now back in a starlet
  23. a company already make glanza one's for around that price... not gt one's tho!
  24. you dont want to be driving it with a snapped spring lol, i would recommend you find replacements
  25. its the massive one in the middle normally, not the ones that hold it to the chassis.
