  1. will people stop saying "Private road/track" you're not fooling anyone you lousy F&F wannabes
  2. Says the queen of taste
  3. would you retrim a steering wheel for me in Alcantara? The leather on my Nardi steering wheel is far gone and just completely ungrippy
  4. it's the whole "Fast & Furious" imagery of the Honduhs...they're hated everywhere for the ricer behind the wheel running his mouth about VTaaaaaaaakkkkkkk
  5. c/f on the otherhand is a great alternative...at least then it'd serve a purpose to have that colour
  6. You'll find most people's opinion will be the same - it's one thing to make something standout, it's another to make it look tasteful. The black bonnet isn't terrible, but it stands out for the wrong reason...like you ran out yellow paint A subtle car is a good looking car, something that's made obvious, is just garish. In the end it's your car, if you want to grab attention...well...there's a main group of people it'll attract...Do little detail parts in black, then it'll look good...like the grille, bumper opening blade, smoked repeaters, smoke the rear lenses, blacken the numberplate holder, door handles, mirrors etc...
  7. no, the Black bonnet just looks like something is broken
  8. as if a driving Strepsil sweet wouldn't get attention anyway...Looks better all yellow, looks less like you lost your original bonnet...like the tools driving around with Primer on half the car
  9. his is a quadlight - separate hi and lo beams
  10. 90-99 UK Spec Starlet - doesn't take into account Starlet GT's....can't remember what the quadlight is, I think it could be h3 Bulbs
  11. regardless you need 5efhe rods, you can't stick 4efte rods on the 5efhe crank, it'll mess up the stroke
  12. woops, my bad - thought you wanted to convert a 5efe to 5efte...i should read next time in that case you need: - 5e block - 5e crank - 5efhe conrods (would be nice as they're thicker) - 4e pistons - 5e clutch Go on eGay, there's a couple of Toyota Sera's being broken, try get one of the engines
  13. i had a lot of parts needed for the conversion, but they've been sold now, your loss and no, you'll need a LOT more than the crank and block...: - 4efte Pistons - 5efhe connecting rods (Preferrably) - 4efte injectors & fuel rail - 4efte ct9 turbo - 4efte manifold - 4efte thermostat housing and water piping - 4efte Oil sump/oil pickup/oil lines - 4efte downpipe (can be modified to exhaust) / custom exhaust - 4efte Boost hosing - 4efte Intake hosing - 4efte Oil Filter Relocator Assembly - Intercooler of sorts (4efte TMIC...but need a scoop in the bonnet, preferrably) - Piggyback ECU/Standalone EMS (Preferrably) - Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (Preferrably) And i've probably missed a few things
  14. - Update - - JAM Racing Manifold - Zep Racing Decat - Apex-i Voltage Stabiliser - Rare Non-Mappable ECU - Spare SARD RRFPR - Autobahn Oil Catch Can These are all on their way to me
  15. i think he means the small plastic trim under the dash
  16. post Well I shall let you know in a couple of weeks, I need a Manual Steering rack from a Starlet. For the breakers section, what we could do is have "areas"...I'll inspect the Oxford area and anyone in the vicinity can collect from me, or post
  17. well if anyone has a request I'll try and meet it when I'm free, love going to the scrapyard
  18. usually what I do, when I find a useful car in my local scrapyard I post it up and buy the items for any interested people - there was a Paseo in my scrapyard which I've pilfered from that all that's left is a shell of it's former self I also sold someone a Silvertop 4age...it gives me something to do. We had an EP82 in my scrapyard at one point...should've taken the steering rack
  19. meh, I want to keep the heater for the winter months - not for keeping warm, but for the dreaded mist. Also, is the A/C condenser pretty much that huge, errr...for want of a less blonde word....thing on the passenger side of the dash? If so I'll probably take that out tomorrow when I'm bored
  20. I can tell, behaves very much like an n/a! Just with masses of torque in the mid-range, good going
  21. what turbo you have?? Very flat torque-curve, have a lot of usabl torque between 4000-6500rpm, perfect for overtaking. And the a very linear powergraph too, no discernible lag?!
  22. that's one beefy strut brace ;)
  23. indeed they are Holy Cat-Like Eyesight Batman! ;)
  24. Happy Birthday Gaz, bet you feel old now...I know I did Oh, and you may have noticed your GT missing some nice wheels, bwahahaha ;) strikes again
  25. no amount of sunlight, artificial light or starlight will help that car...
