  1. I can tell, behaves very much like an n/a! Just with masses of torque in the mid-range, good going
  2. what turbo you have?? Very flat torque-curve, have a lot of usabl torque between 4000-6500rpm, perfect for overtaking. And the a very linear powergraph too, no discernible lag?!
  3. indeed they are Holy Cat-Like Eyesight Batman! ;)
  4. Happy Birthday Gaz, bet you feel old now...I know I did Oh, and you may have noticed your GT missing some nice wheels, bwahahaha ;) strikes again
  5. no amount of sunlight, artificial light or starlight will help that car...
  6. check the tyres and get rid of your lead shoes ;)
  7. Bump - editted the thread to include the entire history of the car...I'm bored, yes yes ;)
  8. - Minor Update - Carpet ripped out Just a minor update, ripped out the carpet (another 3kg out): And my god that's a lot of sound deadening, will need to buy some dry ice soon, and get all the sound deadening on the firewall off. I also really need to learn how to weld and find a metal works shop I can use...so much room for improvement on the Rigidity of the car, it's pretty much just stamped sheet metal and gaping holes everywhere.
  9. well just finished removing all signs of carpetting/plastic trim (bar the sidesills to cover the wiring) in my car - one question, I take it you need to have the dash off to get rid of the sound deadening on the firewall right? Or is there a way of just ripping it out...I was worried about all the wiring about ;)
  10. you have the advantage of the turbo which will silence the car a lot more than you think
  11. thanks chap, Indeed I am - great fan of what NightSpirit is doing as those were my intentions too. Apart from the things mentioned above, next weight to lose ---> Me ;) 20kg by December! Hah
  12. - Update - Interior Trim Ripped out Got bored after coming back from the bank, so spent 10mins getting the rear passenger trim, b & a-pillar trims, and headlining out...a good 5kg or so out of the car: This is just the beginning, need to remove the powersteering when I'm bothered, going to buy some dry ice to get rid of the sound-deadening soon, get rid of the remaining trim, aerial and wiring etc...Using some scales, seems like everything I took out of the interior tallies up about 33kg, not bad. I also noticed, there is so much that can be done to reinforce the chassis of the
  13. even lightweight engine internals - pistons, connecting rods, valvetrain, crankshaft (a lot of potential there) etc... Carbon Fibre Driveshafts wouldn't be bad in price considering how small they are
  14. i've seen it, but that's cause my car's always being repaired at the shop where his car is ;)
  15. Enzo, which do you need, Pin-type or Hole Type? I have a Hole-Type JAM Actuator for sale...
  16. for 1Bar it's said to set it at 45PSi at idle, but it'd be best to get it setup on a rolling road
  17. if you want to run at 1Bar, common advice says you should really have a Front Mount intercooler, an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator...err...and that's pretty much the "necessities" to make sure the engine will be safe with the higher temperatures produced by, and the extra fuelling needed due to running more boost
  18. HKS Ones are adjustable, all the other Fixed ones raise boost pressure to around 0.9-1Bar
  19. you kidding me? Took like 20mins to swap actuators - it's just 2 bolts to undo, to hoses to remove, one circlip to be removed....replace, then repeat in the reverse order. Ofcourse I don't have A/C which could mae manners easier?
  20. In Layman's terms, they make it harder for the Internal Wastegate of the Turbo to vent excess pressure, hence allowing for a greater amount of boost to be run. They also utilise better and more efficient designs for better boost control amongst other things. HKS are everywhere, JAM are relatively hard to find...Tom's, HRF and others are damn near impossible to find. I have a JAM one for sale, but if you have a Glanza, it'll be the wrong type
  21. I was almost Catatonic when I saw a Chili's there too....CHILIS...In ENGLAND?!?! I mean there's a few in Jeddah, KSA, but UK?! TGI's was bad enough...Well, not bad enough, awesome Tex Mex's but so unexpected...If I see a Fuddruckers, Applebees and Al Baik popping up, I'll eat my face (Al Baik will conquer England )
  22. Wagamama's at the Oracle - yummy
  23. some people say to loop the hoses going into the rack from the reservoir, otherwise yes...that's all that's needed
