I thought it was 2.5" so I just went outside now and measured its 2.25"! But I think the backbox piping of the Nur Spec is 2.5", plus my backbox has no baffles in it! lol
Wow...just saw the thread on the Sheffield forum! Sounds like Bourkey was in a really bad way, so glad hes doing OK now! Thank God the Landrover driver and passer bys stopped to help!
You could always just put a thin bolt through it with a washer and nut on the other end as a temporary fix. Anyway dude, how you been?! Not seen you in ages! So I see you got your hybrid fitted, what other stuff you got on there now?!
I was waiting for a courier to come pick my exhaust up, he came about 10mins ago. Now I dunno what to do! Should be doing uni work, but can't be bothered!
Jesus christ! That looks insane, been ripped in half! So glad you are OK and I hope Bourkey gets better soon! Please update us on how he (and you) are! Are those blood stains by the way?
Oooh some nice parts! Is that the cracked SPS mani you beat me to getting or the other cracked one? lol Should be OK getting it fixed, might not look pretty though! lol
Today's agenda: Pick up exhaust from Glanza_CL and fit it ... DONE! Blitz nur spec back box with baffles removed and Apexi centre section - sounds flappin' wicked!
Just buy a set of spring clamps from Halfords, use them, then take them back! Compress the spring, and remove the top mount (get a very small spanner to hold the top of the shock where the flat is (you could use mole grips), then undo the big nut).
I just took off my front exit exhaust and fitted an Autobahn de-cat...that was err...fun. The design of the Autobahn de-cat is shocking! Had to bend the in/out water pipes to the turbo to get the lambda sensor back in! Hope it doesn't crack! lol
Must be something burning off mate! You used Toyota gaskets; so it won't be those crappy eBay ones burning or anything like that - must just be the WD40 you sprayed on it! Take it for a quick blap, should eventually go. My brothers de-cat smoked for quite awhile! Think there's some coating on the stainless that just burnt off.
