  1. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? I have cut the pipe from the actuator to the turbo ready for the t-piece I have ran a pipe from the hi-low solenoid to connect to the third port of the t-piece Can anyone tell me where the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold goes? Does this run to the second port of the solenoid or do I leave it disconnected?
  2. Ok thanks so one pipe T's off from the actuator/turbo pipe to one port on the hi-low solenoid and the other port of the solenoid just vents to atmosphere. Is that right? Does it matter which port on the solenoid does which?
  3. Ok thanks. So if it just t's off to the solenoid do you not need to run a second pipe off of the solenoid to somewhere too?
  4. Well there was a t-piece in the box with the HKS actuator. There must be a pipe that needs cut and branched off for it to work?
  5. Wondering if anyone can help me out here Looking to pipe my HKS actuator so that I can still use the hi-low solenoid. Can anyone shed any light on how to set this up. I know there are a few people on here that have this set up These are the instructions that came with the actuator & I'm having a bit of trouble working out if this is how to set it up to use the solenoid or not?
  6. Got it all checked. Called the AA out to the house and he confirmed that the battery was the issue. All tests showed that the battery was taking a healthy charge once the car started so the alternator is fine too
  7. Thanks for the replys folks Well it turns out that it was the battery after all Cant explain why it didn't start with the jump leads yesterday but she started straight away today with a booster pack
  8. Yeah that's what I thought it was at first but even tried jump leads off my girlfriends car but still just get the clicking. Battery is definitely fine
  9. Hey folks. Can anyone tell me if the EP91 Glanza is common for problems with the starter motor? I was going to take my Glanza out for a little run today but I could not get the car to start The car has been tucked away in my garage for almost 3 weeks but the last time it was out it ran/started perfect When I try and start the car, I get all the lights on the dash but the starter just clicks continuously and refused to turn Any suggestions?
  10. Wondering if anyone else has issues with boost creep? My EP91 is running the stock turbo, Japspeed cat back, HDI front mount & air filter relocation I have recently fitted a hks actuator and set it to .7 to start with On the first test run, the car would boost fine to .7 then in the higher revs it would shoot up to almost 1 bar then hit boost cut. I have now set the actuator back to stock boost and it still overboosts and hits cut in most gears This is driving me mad! Can anything be done to stop this? I have read into setting the piping so that you can still use the hi-low sol
  11. I used to own a '97 Pre-facelift EK9 a few years ago. Was freshly imported by a chap just outside of Reading. I took the train down to pick it up and drive it all the way back up to Scotland. Sooooo much fun! As said already, the B16 engine is superb! Even standard. Vtec sounds brilliant when paired with a decent air filter set up. That's the only modification that I did to mine, no need to mess about with suspension as they handle so well in standard form Price can be high but they are a sure future classic and will only rise in value if the mileage is kept fairly low.   13. Not been on the forum much lately but there has been some good progress made with the car. Now all fully UK registered, taxed & insured HDI intercooler fitted, air filter relocation, blitz bov and the Japspeed cat back Still got some tidying up to do under the bonnet but this will be done while the car is garaged over winter Within the first 24 hours of the car being on the road I under sealed the car at my work. I have since put another coat on last weekend but I could not believe how clean the car was underneath. Hopefully I can keep her that way!
  14. I have every part in that picture apart from the intercooler cover and sensor. Pm me if interested mate. My air filter housing also has a hks panel filter
  15. Well if I block up the vacuum pipe coming off from the inlet manifold I get chatter changing gear at lower boost but still get the bov dumping at higher Would it be down to the fact that the bov is connected to the inlet pipe from the fmic piping?
  16. Na it dumps through the Blitz all the time, on high or low. I'll try taking the pipe off the bov and see what happens. Is it okay to just leave the pipe off or should I block it off temporarily? A faulty hi-lo solenoid did cross my mind but just wanted to make sure I'd wired it correctly
  17. Hopefully someone can help me out with this. Probably just something I've not wired up correctly I have just fitted my HDI front mount intercooler. I have also fitted a Blitz Bov I have seen a video on YouTube about setting up the car so that you can have either Bov sound or turbo chatter by pressing the Hi-low boost button. I have connected the hoses up as I recon they should but I only get the blow off noise Inlet manifold-solenoid. Solenoid to Bov but it doesn't do anything different Can anyone help me out? Here is my setup

  22. Hey guys and girls. Wondered if someone could help me out with a wee question I have an HDI FMIC for my EP91 Glanza. Question that I have is what fits onto the end of this pipe? I was thinking that it would be the dump valve location but I'm not 100% sure. Want to make sure that I've got everything before I fit it Thanks in advance
