  1. Haha not yet buddy. Was going to do it on sunday but sadly I ran out of time (and light). Fingers crossed for this weekend, weather permitting lol
  2. Thanks mate. Still got loads to do but it's a case of trying to find the time Still waiting on the import pack documents coming through from the dvla so I'm just trying get to get as much done to it before its registered and in the road
  3. Today was a good day for progress Shorter alternator belt fitted and the car now runs again New Kenwood stereo fitted and working. Wiring was a bit if a mess behind the old jap double din stereo Rather than mess about cutting and joining wires etc I purchased a simple plug & play loom from eBay. Much neater Also fitted the new pillar pod and two gauges. Boost and oil temperature
  4. Ok cool, thanks. Thought I was doing something wrong
  5. Hi, I have just purchased one of your air filter relocation kits for my EPIC glanza. Does the silicone pipe that goes on to the turbo need to be cut to fit? I cannot get mine to fit on due the either the oil filter or the power steering pump
  6. Small update. More parts arrived this week Non air con belt, New roof gutter mouldings, spare key & touch up paint Timing belt kit, water pump & air filter relocation kit. All from ID Workz Also purchased a Japspeed cat back system from 'Matt' a member on this forum Just waiting for this horrible rain to stop so that I can get cracking on with fitting some more parts
  7. Na don't want to be hacking away at the car. Just going to cut it and join with a silicone hose
  8. Yeah thinking that's going to be my only option. Car is currently sitting in bits and really want to get cracking on
  9. Ever growing pile of parts beginning to form on the grass
  10. Today was the first of many more days of hard work. Myself and a friend began to strip down the car in preparation for the first modification, the HDI front mount intercooler. All of the intake, standard intercooler and air con system have been removed so far
  11. Well I've been a member on here for a few months now but finally became the proud owner of a late 99 Glanza V yesterday. Thought I'd start my build thread straight away since I have quite a bit planned for the car Here is my Glanza V. Had to trailer The car to my house since its a fresh import, not even registered yet & never seen the Scottish rain
  12. Hey folks hopefully someone can help me out here Myself and a mechanic friend were trying to fit my new HDI FMIC to my 1999 EP91 Glanza but was having some issues and had to give up Problem that we had was that the pipe that goes from the turbo down past the radiator and under the chassis leg doesn't seem to give enough clearance to clear the chassis leg/front panel area. Making it impossible for the next bend to attach without cutting away at this panel. Not really ideal Has anyone else had this issue fitting an HDI or am i doing something wrong??
  13. Haha will do Matt. I've been busy ripping bits off today so will probably start up a build thread shortly. You have PM about the exhaust. Defo want it!
  14. Ah sorry, 99' Glanza V Hahaha story behind the username.... When I signed up for xbox live many years ago, I tried to just use my name, that was one of the choices that xbox came back with. I thought it sounded funny at the time and it's just stuck
  15. Hey everyone, my name is Neil. I live just outside of Edinburgh and just picked up my EP91 today Already got a few parts ready to go so will be getting cracking on with fitting as much as I can tomorrow Hope to speak to some of you soon as I'm sure I'll have plenty questions as my build progresses
  16. Is this a stainless stwel system? Is it really loud? I'm looking for a system that isn't overly loud but compliments the glanza. I don't want it to drown out the sound of the turbo
  17. Hi, PM'd you but not heard anything. Is this car still for sale???
