Good god they are the most awful things I've ever subject my ears to.. I'll agree with you on that point. 4" speakers will give very little to no bass without distortion so a good set of branded ones will give a nice crisp sound without sounding tinny. If it's bass your after, you'll have to look at a small sub/amp setup

Been there before mate

Top lad Colin

Cheers Colin. What size will I buy ?
-
I've bought a 4AN line. Will this need an inline restrictor ?
-
Alpine do a 4" speaker I was going to get. A good head unit makes a difference also
-
Nope. Not unless you swap the 1e for a 4efe even then there's not much point
-
1 and 4 at the top mate

Ah I get you now

Check the diagnostics port see if it gives a code. Check throttle position sensor, Coolant temp sensor, spark plugs & leads. Does sound like an easy fix. If you want to fix it. Just a shame to see another broke as it looks in good condition
-
May I ask why you reccomend the ptfe/Teflon over steel/ SS ?
-
That's great mate thanks. First time making an AN hose which is a bit risky concidering it's an oil feed but I'm sure if I watch enough YouTube vids and take my time I'll be fine
-
Thanks guys I appreciate the help. Will have a look at your build thread now Rob for the millionth time Those fittings being the AN fittings that screw onto the end of the banjo Colin ? Quite a clever idea really thinking about it but I just presumed the bolts were prone to breaking but if it's people over torquing them that's not an issue. Plus AN fittings look pretty
-
Ah it makes sense now cheers mate It just seems easier to do really, keep hearing of people breaking the bolts and the bits easier to get
-
It has to be a banjo bolt fitment ? Or are you having a giggle at the banjo bit ? Haha
-
Hi guys, looking to make my own oil feed for my tf035. Preferably I'd like to convert it to AN fittings if possible. Just wondered if anyone knows the size on the housing & turbo along with what size hose to use. Or if it has to be used with a banjo bolt what's the name/ size of the circular connector ? Thanks in advance

Will stick one up today. If they don't line up (I never checked) I'll just use lots of tigerseal on the bottom. No one likes rusty sills -

I think what I'm going to do is put some molly-lube on the end of the clips so they leave a mark on the car when it's pressed up. Then paint inside of the hole with stonechip with a cotton bud -

Haven't updated this in a while.. Went on holiday and kind of run out of funds. Anyway getting back into it now. Bigger turbo has been bought, will update once it's here. Plan to get my bottom end built up soon (hopefully). Can anyone give info on putting the FTE oil filter relocator on the FE block ? -
