  2. Also need to tension my inlet cog. Is this a case of threading a bolt through the cog ?
  3. Hi guys. I'm putting the camshaft a back in my FTE head and wasn't sure if I've got it right and need to be 100% certain on my timing. I have all the timing marks lines up, and noticed inlet valves on cylinder number 3 are open slightly. Would this be correct ? No other valves are open. Need a 1/4" torque wrench as my 1/2" only goes as far down as 23 n.m not the 9ft-lbs (13 n.m) required. I have read the guide on TGTT but couldn't comprehend it fully. See pictures below of timing.   4. It's around 1.75" I beleive. I've a universal backbox here I had on mine. No longer needed as I'm going turbo
  5. Was over in the Caribbean a few times and they've loads of ep85's and reflet models. I don't think I actually saw a standard ep91 once Even if I find some reflet rear lenses on the cheap I'd be happy

  7. Hi guys I've seen a few Jamaican owners in here but can't find them now. I'm off to Jamaica for a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the rough price of parts ? I'm allowed 2 bags going back so might pick up a few bits.
  8. My father had a mondeo St tdci which was very sick at the time needed new injectors and turbo seals among other things but I'm sure he had a word with a tester he knew and he never revved it.. Insurance was 4000 a year for me 17 on full licence 1.3 n/a
  9. Increases the pressure applied to the callipers, but if you were to slap those breaks on with a standard servo I'd imagine it'd still be pretty hard...

  15. I don't think there is a difference between 96/98 spec. Stick up a pic of you can I'm sure someone will offer a solution have you screwed it into the bumper where it goes into the wheel well ?
  16. Is the rear lip attached to the bumper already ? My genuine one fits with no issues

  19. I wouldn't imagine their brakes have to be the best just a throw a massive parachute out the back. The top fuel dragsters burn out their spark plugs within a second and work as a Diesel engine thereafter which I found interesting

  21. Head built and sump painted in stonechip. Any tips on removing sump sealer ?
