Items for sale: 4ET crankshaft 1A0 skirt end caps Custom rear brace Description & condition: Crankshaft spun a rod bearing on #3 and needs a re grind, hence price. Main all in good condition Skirt end caps are in OK condition, see damage in pics Rear brace is a front one I modified to fit the rear. Not rear seat friendly and plastic trimming required. Riiiiiiiiight. Because those holes had rough edges I thought that the engine was knackered as I couldn't imagine Toyota leaving it like that i imagined it would be smooth, anyway after taking the crank out I found another and looked at the shapes properly and they were identical, turns out it's all Bueno and I was just being a mong not knowing it was a factory finish -

So it comes like that as standard ? Thought it was knackered with the edges being so rough I couldn't imagine Toyota leaving it like that. Cheers pal -
Right lads bought an fte engine the other day and saw a hole at the bottom of the block and thought it was fucked. I've since taken the crank out and I've noticed there's 1 at each end. The holes at first looked to be sharp edged as if they were damaged. But looking at it closer the holes are pretty much identical so makes me think they're supposed to be there ???
