  3. it sounds like the turbo is on its way out, if the seals in the turbo are going she'll smoke on over run. you can take the down pipe and intake pipe off and see if there's any oil leaking through the seals. kevin

  9. I thought the torque was a bit low, is there anything I can do to bring the torque up a bit? kevin
  10. spec: ramhorn manifold, td04l 13t, decat 2 1/2 stainless steel exhaust, e manage blue + 3 bar map sensor, manual boost controller, rrfpr, stock injectors, fmic, relocated air filter, walbro 255 fuel pump, trd pressure plate exedy 3 paddle friction plate and alloy half size radiator. I'm getting full boost at 3800 rpm and pulls right to limiter not like the ct9 runs out of puff very fast. kevin
  11. hi lad im running standard internals on td04l at 1 bar 214.8bhp and she's handling that power no problem, go td04 you wont regret it. kevin
  12. finally got my td04l glanza mapped today she made 214.8bhp and 169.2lbft torque at 1 bar and im really happy with the power. but to me the torque seams a bit low or is that the torque figure for the td04 at a bar? kevin
  13. hi lad I have a mild steel 90o elbow sch 40 3.6mm thick, inside diameter 35mm, outside diameter 42mm its good quality steel and I made my ramhorn manifold from it. you can have it if its any good to you as long as you pay for postage. kevin
  14. can anyone tell me will these plugs be ok in my td04 glanza BKR6EIX. I know everyone uses BKR7EIX but could only get my hands on the heat range 6 ones, will they be ok to use? kevin
  15. hi karl I left the car up at stephens to get mapped two weeks ago today and haven't heard anything back from him yet, cant wait to drive her at 1 bar on td04l kevin
  16. if I wasn't skint I would of had these, they would finish of my td04l build nicely kevin
  17. well the stem seals I got were brown and grey I fitted the brown to inlet and grey to exhaust, that's the way Toyota told me to fit them. so I would fit your black seals to the inlet and grey to exhaust kevin
  18. hi lad did you try changing the pcv valve on the rocker cover to see if that clears your problem. kevin
  19. yes mate the FAI vsk325 is the part number for the Mitsubishi lancer and the ( pa617 ) is the Toyota number but there both the same oil stem seal and work a treat. kevin
  20. for the stage 1 kit you get: wossner forged pistons scat forged rods acl main and big end bearings Athena mls head gasket 1.2 or 1.4mm ARP head bolts price is £1.199 that's with tuning development, but if you keep a look out on the for sale section theres always forged pistons and conrod coming up for sale. kevin
  21. the head bolts: 22nm 44nm then 90 degrees cam carriers: 13nm cam sprocket/gear: 51nm crank pully: 155nm rocker cover: 7nm inlet manifold: 19nm exhaust manifold:48nm spark plug:18nm sump drain bolt:25nm main bearings: 29nm then 58nm big end bearings: 20nm then 40 nm there's a few that will hopefully get you sorted if you need anymore torque specs give me a shout. kevin
  22. FAI vsk325 (pa617) that's the part number for the steam seals I used lad there for a Mitsubishi lancer but are the same size and there doing the job nicely, where only £28.80 but id say you'll get them cheaper on ebay. kevin
  23. as said above you need hg new head blot's M9 coolant and the tool to compress the valve springs you will also need to reseat the valves in as well. remember to drain the oil first cause when the heads removed coolant will enter the cylinders and contaminate the oil. I replaced my oil stem seals 2 weeks ago myself but I'm mechanically minded. also remember to pretension the inlet cam when setting the timing. kevin
  24. hi lad your better of just ordering them from your nearest engine engineering or motor factor, the last set I bought was FAI and only cost £28.80. from powermax engineering. kevin
