  1. yeah i dont really care about arch gap, cant wait to get some tyres and get them on will do bud, although i have my super anal perfectionist mate on them who has polished one to a mirror thanks bud, i hope so got the clutch done today so it doesn't slip anymore.old clutch was smooth as a babys bum. i will be doing more wheel stuff tomorrow and probably giving it a clean
  2. I like them a lot Got 2 polished up ready to prep and paint the centres Other 2 are a bit crusty
  3. so a while ago a couple of my friends go "build a starlet with wide 13s like this!" and then proceed to show me a picture of spoonsie lads old na with 13 inch superlights on it. i thought yeah why not, i always wanted to but i never had enough money for the wheels. then this happened: these are compomotive cx's. they need a good polish and to paint the centres. specs are 13x7 et-6! so some arch rolling will be required! test fitted one and it had about 15mm of poke
  4. got kyb supers to go the front and decent condition stock rears and my apex springs.
  5. Coming on well Is that a gt turbo spoiler?
  6. New ones much nicer as well. Feels so much better to drive a car with working suspension!
  7. yeah, i'm a fan of the blurple. it is clean, but the old owner was dirty as hell. i found a chicken wing under the airbox
  8. One look at this and it's easy to see We take cars to seriously over here. One event is an autosolo where your friends push you backwards halfway round the track! >http://youtu.be/6WxeltqpxkQ
  9. cheers phil. and thanks for saving me looking up the colour code if all goes to plan you wont be waiting too long it is lovely. paints in good nick too its a nice deep blue, way more interesting to look at than the blueish silver. i'll be leaving it na. glanza reps aren't really my thing. and they won't suit what i want to do to it. ----------------------------- also, new clutch arrived today so hopefully that'll be done over the weekend
  10. you have to take it on track, it'll be an absolute weapon! just don't do what i did
  11. So as a few of you know my silver NA had an encounter with a lamppost and is now off the road. i was upset but have taken it as an opportunity, as i have a bit of money i was saving for a new car (coughmxcough5). my plan is to build the NA i wanted to build when i first got one. this will unfold in the coming weeks but for now, i present project blueberry: so called because its full of seeds : its 1997 solida. very clean bodywork and paint but it needs a clutch. hopefully doing this on saturday. spent today cleaning up the seeds and human slime and fitting my gt seats.
  12. i dont think so bud, the whole front is folded in half! rads an easy fix, you're welcome to the shell if you wanna fix it tho anyway too late now
  13. nice! , take it you live close to cadwell then? wish there where more tracks near me
  14. salvageable yes, can't save the car though. front crossmember went through the rad
