Cheers for the headsup,....one of my buds whos a mechanic has offered to lend a hand. He asked me to find out whether the locking tool is toyota specific or just a universal one?

Been doing some research today and going to have a go. How did you both manage to removed the pulley bolt? Is there a locking tool I can buy to do this?

Anyone got a good tutorial on how to change a cam belt on a 4efte? Found a couple in the tutorial section, but one had no pics, and the other ones pics were not the best. Never done one before, but done everything else maintenance wise on my car so far. Is it worth a shot, or just take it to a mechanic?
