I know theres quite a few topics about this, but after a rough kinda guide on what ill need. My engine is totally standard aside from exhaust, ssqv and panel filter, but i cant get the idea of td04 out of my head. What kinda stuff would i need to get up and running on td04 with standard engine? I know obviously the kit, fmic and ecu. But is anything else needed/recommended? Not even sure what gauges would be best for monitoring things. Total noob when it comes to this kinda stuff! Lol.

Tbh i usually use normal unleaded...have filled up with v power the past couple of times as ive had vouchers for 10p off a litre etc. its made fuck all difference to my mpg. In fact i got less than usual on my last tank, although id had a few rather hard drives lol. My gauge is odd too, will do the not moving then drop etc. i usually fill it from the quarter which is usually about 200miles for me.

Id rather have just a starlet meet too tbh, but the cruise meet was just an idea as the usual attempted meets have failed. Like the idea of falkirk wheel one evening though!

Yeah there def has to be a scottish meet, butttt...can tell it'll probably not happen tbh! It always ends up fizzling out. Best idea would be to all meet up at a cruise night like falkirk cruise imo. Get us all parked together etc. Closest ive seen was a big meet in aberdeen a while back, had 7 or 8 starlets all parked up in a row. Even made it into fast car!

Its probably due to the coilover troubles and the accident he was involved in! I know a guy that spent £5-6k on a 5e forged build and turbo kit etc, then broke it once it was finished, engine had only been run in! Couldnt understand it tbh!

£3-3.5k is probably more realistic imo! Breaking it is really the only way to get the best money for it!

I saw a few of the starlet boys about, although i always feel strange just walking up to random folk at stuff like that so a proper meet would be awesome, get to put faces to all the usernames etc!
