  1. I'm 34 so that explains it,we've all been there mate I'm sure it will drop at renewal when I was insuring my sr at 19 I can remember it being expensive aswell ,your car looks great leave as is now and enjoy it fair play to you as most people at your age want a white vag diesel on finance 👍

That's insane nearly 100 a month mines 20 quid ,how old are you if you dont mind me asking I'm a Sheffield post code aswell and that includes business cover ,I can't understand it worst offenders in my experience seem to be hastings for hiking up policy prices when changing cars, brokers like sky,greenlight,etc seem the way to go

  4. Ive ran two of the above tyres paradas shocking replaced them with evergreen tyres before I needed to which I actually preferred, and t1rs not bad tyres at all a little noisy maybe of the two I prefered the toyos but I ran neither on the starlet

  6. That is a very very good advice right there this guys got his head screwed on when I wanted a glanza at 20 and couldn't insure one Legally I bought a sr instead just not worth the risk

  8. Yeah I live close by meadowhall 10 mins away can't stand the place got my starlet from pentagon toyota down the road its burrows toyota now though , lovely colour green is that one of my fave na's on here

  10. Have you seen the 220bhp accord euro r jdm import ?? Mine steamed up I changed the pollen filter behind the glove box never steamed up after that id try that only 8 quid

I had a corolla t sport and loved it had a civic type and never really bonded with it one of the few cars I was glad to see the back of it wasn't a bad car just not for me ,my choice would be a corolla hands down ignore the 0-60 of 8.4 its a load of crap its same as Celica as a friend had one ,just lower 30 mm job done great cars only thing I bought was a wiper motor in 5 years and 65,000 miles

  14. Couldn't wait to get rid of my ep3 one if the few cars regret owning money pits in my experience much preferred the corolla t sport
  15. If I was ever to own a caldina it would look like yours the wheels look great plus they are Toyota oem keep it simple it looks fantastic and stands out from the norm
  16. Original Sony was terrible ive got a replacement sorted fitted it today old age car with new age technology now😂 still Sony though , when I bought the sr I wanted black ,white or silver in that order but now having silver hides a lot of age related marks

Love a sr I have one in silver factory fitted aircon aswell ,today it let me down the original stereo gave up the ghost cant complain shame really loved the fact it was totally original except tte back box owned for it 16 years i bought from pentagon Toyota its still on the original number plates great great cars Il be keeping an eye on this thread

I have a 140 red edition in silver that's lowered cannot fault it at all awesome handling good on fuel over 40 mpg on motorway is easily achievable just make sure its facelift its not really that underpowered for day to day driving still gets you to 62 in around 8.5 I had the 190 engine corolla t sport that was pretty swift to be fair,if I was after a cheap daily id look at a yaris Tsport

Ive had other cars got a gen 7 Celica as well but there is no way id sell up now very very attached to the car my sister had it off me for a while but I still used it then I had it back off her just kept up to maintenance if it needed anything it got it all my mates still laugh when they get in it as it reminds them of out late teens early twentys as we are in our thirties now 😅

Well the sr sailed straight through MOT no advisories at 128k got lots of attention at test centre as it always does best 8k ive ever spent yes ive had it that long that was the purchase price in year 2000 its a 1999 s reg 2 back box's a clutch and a hanbrake is all she's cost in 15 years great great cars
