  1. I'd say around 1400-1600 quid with standard wheels sr's are one of those cars you love or don't know what they are small market for them ,obviously I love them as I've had mine since 2000 we all know you don't get money back on all modified cars oh the joys eh sell the wheels separate would be the best option I think ,but it looks very tidy by the way if your in no rush aim high you just never know
  2. I'm not actually going to this one but for me the 2 that stand out the most are Andrew Bayer and Eli and fur , though cannot fault above and beyond they do excellent live sets ,not fussed on Armin lost his edge after 2010 went to commercial , but there's no doubt that's a great weekend line up
  3. No matter what car you decide to get insurance is gonna cost you so for the sake of 200 quid either way I'd get the car you really want , paying all that for a car your unsure about just doesn't seem worth it
  4. I recognise that back ground if that's a dealer acting in a different name a close friend bought a s3 off them a few years ago and it needed a bottom head rebuild ,thanks for heads up
  5. I currently don't have side decals on as had doors blown in last year and it still gets attention it's on around 133k works a 6 mile round trip I reckon I'd need to spend 1500 to get it up to a decent standard paint , wheels etc passenger door has a few car park dings only see in certain light yet whole of drivers side is mint, if I spent all that I wouldn't want to drive it and that's what I love about it ..driving it
  6. Modern cars all look the same every model in their range look like squashed and stretched versions of each other that's why Il always drive older cars , I sort photos out this week lads they are up in loft then Il polish her up and get some current ones least I know she's 100% original few battle scar scratches my sister did on bumper not deep though other than a missing tte back box it's all there even original number plate This threads making me want to take it off the road for some TLC
  7. I have yeah I've not got a photo bucket account so Il sort membership out and do it that way there proper photos though so it will be a photo of a photo from the week I picked it up , great cars aren't they Il definitely have another was your first one black do you know it's whereabouts?
  8. Oh and have either of your black ones in a heartbeat both stunners
  9. There aren't many SR's left at all and most probably don't even look like SR's anymore. Lots do get modified and it's a shame as most mods are bodywork related- start of being minor but as soon as that Glanza rear bumper goes on it usually ends up a full rep but each to their own. Mind you mines not exactly standard but the miles wern't low enough otherwise i might have not touched it at all. Most of my mods are under the skin though and don't affect how the SR differs from a normal car. I want to creat the SR Toyota should've made so that's why i'm using Glanza late spec interior etc. Black's
  10. Exactly my point right there ^^^^ To be honest I don't give a toss if a twenty year old drove the same car as me I'd say good choice sir , but to make a strong comment like saying were all kids ragging cars needs backing up with evidence, that ep3 was a decent car but never have I been called a chav boy racer etc etc so much in my driving life and witnessed such childish behaviour off other owners trying to race me in their ep3 all with civic owners club stickers god I sound old , but there's a bloke round corner who drives one who's in his fifties which proves my point , now where did I put
  11. I've had a ep3 myself and found the forums very childish but i wouldn't post it on the forum itself , the starlet forum has been absolutely fine I'm no spring chicken either at 35 I'm looking at getting a glanza end of the year I've owned the sr daily over 15years and has served me well
  12. Really ? You got a link I saw a white one but that looks to far gone shame really
  13. Bit harsh that not all glanza owners are kids on here there's plenty of owners 30+ yeah you get the odd few that's expected tbh
  14. Yeah the Celica's lose power with aftermarket filters as well the Celica surprisingly only weighs 1145kg ish it the gearing that let's it down but I knew this when I bought it needed a motorway cruiser lovely to drive mind and handling is superb.....but it's definatly no compressor or glanza either way it's gotta be silver
  15. Thinking about a compressor or a glanza next ,use my starlet sr as the daily ,I've got the red edition 140 not t sport as I was spending a lot of time on motorways at weekends so wanted the longer 6th gear it's not as slow as people make out to be fair it's just lowered and that's it it's immaculate only 48k but fancy change end if year prob a standard glanza as never had a turbo car , sorry bout the thread hijack the corolla looks lovely I'm one of the minority that prefers the pre facelift same as my old one thunder grey and lowered
  16. Just as fast as the Celica t sport I'd say nearer 7 in all honesty my ep3 felt no faster to 60 , I loved my corolla and only got shut as I'd had it so long and fancied a change ended up with a mr2 roadster in grey that was loaded with tte goodies again another great car only kept that a year though that needed the 2zz in it
  17. I'd have another in a heart beat only mechanical failure I had was rear washer pump motor in 5 years ,8.4 0-60 is a load of lies as well Toyotas marketing bigwigs didn't want the Celica to be no faster on paper
  18. Fair enough I'm over 30 so insurance not a issue anymore it was about the same , but Honda was not as reliable and caused unwanted attention both owned same amount of time and milage, my Celica is dearer to insure than both id have a fn2 type r though
  19. I've had both a ep3 and a t sport both had pros and cons but I wouldn't have another ep3 but would have another t sport in a heartbeat even though its seen as the lesser car
  20. Lowering my corolla t sport was the best thing I did I cant understand why Toyota leave suspension so high on their sporty models ,do it you genuinely wont regret it on the t sport
  21. I'm 34 so that explains it,we've all been there mate I'm sure it will drop at renewal when I was insuring my sr at 19 I can remember it being expensive aswell ,your car looks great leave as is now and enjoy it fair play to you as most people at your age want a white vag diesel on finance 👍
  22. That's insane nearly 100 a month mines 20 quid ,how old are you if you dont mind me asking I'm a Sheffield post code aswell and that includes business cover ,I can't understand it worst offenders in my experience seem to be hastings for hiking up policy prices when changing cars, brokers like sky, greenlight, etc seem the way to go
  23. Immaculate is not having creases in body work imo ,still nice though but not at that money
