Original Sony was terrible ive got a replacement sorted fitted it today old age car with new age technology now😂 still Sony though , when I bought the sr I wanted black ,white or silver in that order but now having silver hides a lot of age related marks

Love a sr I have one in silver factory fitted aircon aswell ,today it let me down the original stereo gave up the ghost cant complain shame really loved the fact it was totally original except tte back box owned for it 16 years i bought from pentagon Toyota its still on the original number plates great great cars Il be keeping an eye on this thread

I have a 140 red edition in silver that's lowered cannot fault it at all awesome handling good on fuel over 40 mpg on motorway is easily achievable just make sure its facelift its not really that underpowered for day to day driving still gets you to 62 in around 8.5 I had the 190 engine corolla t sport that was pretty swift to be fair,if I was after a cheap daily id look at a yaris Tsport

Ive had other cars got a gen 7 Celica as well but there is no way id sell up now very very attached to the car my sister had it off me for a while but I still used it then I had it back off her just kept up to maintenance if it needed anything it got it all my mates still laugh when they get in it as it reminds them of out late teens early twentys as we are in our thirties now 😅

Well the sr sailed straight through MOT no advisories at 128k got lots of attention at test centre as it always does best 8k ive ever spent yes ive had it that long that was the purchase price in year 2000 its a 1999 s reg 2 back box's a clutch and a hanbrake is all she's cost in 15 years great great cars

As above seems no point repping a sr its the standard look that makes them special sr was my first car I'm now 34 and still own it 😊 and use it as a daily id just rep a lower model or as said some nice recaros and a replica tte lip, Mart have I seen your glanza on pistonheads ? If so id of been all over it at that price nice oem example minimum mods just cant justify owning a third car

Looks mint love silvers ,seats look like accord type r if there green and black believe dc5 seats only came in blue red or black either way they still fetch good money

Its on auto trader search starlets highest price first and you will see it i was tempted when i saw it at 2300 myself

Fogs an option as was aircon which mine has looks great keep the ambers though they suit black love a tidy sr

Sacrilege in my opinion I'm a avid sr lover but that is overpriced now decals are ruined and tte box missing low milage or not fortunately your copies are superb so it could still be one of the best

On a glanza blue On a NA SR silver as goes best with decals but I'm biased

I hardly ever see any round here then two go by its given me a kick up backside to get my sr back up to scratch needs a good t cut air con re gas new stickers and speed lines re furbed , cant beat a tidy sr

I left school at 15 got a modern apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery self employed at 19 bought a starlet sr for cash with 4 thousand odd miles on it around 2001 , I'm 34 this year still a carpenter never had a different job and still have the starlet at 123 thousand miles amongst other cars I still have my first house my teachers said id go nowhere I proved em wrong if your happy in your job you will be successful

Right been searching about the net and seem to be able source everything i need even the decals , but no idea where to get the tte backbox plus i even found the original ambers for front and side underneath the spare wheel oh and the gearknob its currently sporting a nice trd one in black worth 40 quid , its booked into my mates body shop to stop the rot on the door till funds or its ready for full respray also does anyone know if ac was a dealer option and where the hell do i source the back box ir even a knacked one just for the tip
