EP82 AERO development car wanted! - Backyard Civics
EP82 Touge replied to Amjad's topic in Performance & Track Days
Thanks Amjad! Very keen to get some side skirts onto mine as soon as possible. -
I'm looking to remove the solenoid and the bracket that holds the vacuum lines from EP82, seems the EP91 set up it slightly different and not wanting to just bypass it. Cheers
-
Hi guys, I know this has been covered in various forms before. Im mainly wanting to remove it just to tidy up the engine bay, and also the small reduction in weight won't hurt. EP82, still running the factory intake pipe. Can anybody assist with a how to? Cheers

Still nobody able to offer an EP82 for Mark to work on some side skirts etc..? -
Hi Guys, After a standard intake pipe from the turbo. Looking for one in good condition and needs to have the connection for the blow valve unbroken. Thanks

Thanks Phil, It's coming along nicely. Certainly don't need built engines and stand alone management to have fun in these cars though. Cheers

That's correct, drivers seat and few other items perhaps. 6KG is not much disparity though I wouldn't think.

Thanks Colin. Translates to say "For competition use" Cheers

The front diffuser is all fitted up and painted now. I also had the car corner weighted (just out of interest for now)

Since changing to the aftermarket manifold I didn't have a heat shield and as I'm still running the factory intake I figured it was worth while making something up. Heat wrapped: Installed: Next project is blanking off the fog light holes. Contemplating using carbon fibre though.

MustakimQZ - The top mount seems to do the job. If I was do doing proper races with a lot of consecutive laps then I may need to reconsider, but for the style of racing I'm currently doing the top mount is less weight and better response. Track temperatures in Japan during the "racing season" can be quite cold also.

I plan to tidy up the aero a bit by painting the splitter the same as the front lip. Also have some fog light blanking plates to go in. And picked up a pair of 7.5" Weds TC005.

Nobody else able to do this? -
Thanks Gainzy, I'm going to put the car on the Dyno once the K1 is installed just to check everything anyway. The Blitz Access ECU I have is labelled as a K1-200V ECU so I think that side of things will be fine.

The K1-200v is getting a quick check over currently before installing. Out of curiosity are you other guys with K1's running standard fuel pump and injectors? In terms of the gearbox either the Levin 4.3 or TRD 4.7 FD. Also seems like Fensport/M Factory advertise a 4.7
