  1. ha ha you have done the same as me with the back box :-) in the end I cut up my old exhaust back box painted it up then got it flanged to fit a straight through exhaust system, still 2.5 up to the cat but without the two middle mufflers.I lasted for 2 days with the 3.5 tip back box, it sounded horrible lol, here is a PIC with it on, didn't really like it to be honest.
  2. Blue tip one has got a pin hole in one of the welds so that's that then it's going back to the shop.
  3. I reckon the one on the right will not be as loud either with it being longer which is what I want.
  4. I had a glanza v auto and the rear gear box mount is the same size as the LSD mount bush, I went and bought yellow Polly mount thinking I needed a new rear mount as a my local garage said I had a bit of play, anyway stuck the Polly bush mount on and it drove horrible it was a right bone shaker. Then I just ordered a manual mount was a little smaller but still would fit, but the problem with that one was more knackered than my auto one was, so in the end i stuck my old auto mount back on as it turned out to be fine, didn't have any cracks in the rubber at all, so I did all this faffing for nothing all because a mechanic said it had a bit of play lol.
  5. Been having sleepless nights lol over this. I had a feeling people would say the 3.5 tip on the right, it's just that I think to many have this style muffler, I like to be a little different this is why I have this car as it's different from other cars, just don't want to spoil it though. It's probably best to just take them both on the day then I can get I better idea on what will fit best and look good when the exhaust is off, i think the blue tip will look good,if it's not sticking out much.
  6. https://youtu.be/-1-tNbbaltg This is what the exhaust on the left sounds like on a Honda EP3 Not got a clue about the other one if it's going to sound nice.
  7. cheers:-) .The right one was the one I bought first then realised its not going to fit straight and will need to chop a bit off the bumper underneath to bring it out a bit so you can see the tip although you wouldn't see the chop unless you stuck your head under.
  8. Haha, it does look a bit ugly but when on my car I think it will look cool plus you wouldn't see much of the tip when it's on, I once had a Peugeot 205 gti they had a muffler like this.I like the 3.5 tip but the probs with that it would have to fit at an angle as it's 490mm, I don't think it will look good like that, and when I see estate cars with a big back box or a van I think haha.
  9. Exhaust will be made up for me on Friday :-), decided to go to someone local to me to make the custom exhaust plus I've had exhausts made from him 3 times in the past does a good job. Have been recommended to go 2.5 straight through, no need to go 3 unless I'm wanting to push out over 340 bhp, with 2.5 I will get plenty of torque. I have bought 2 mufflers not decided on which one to use, on the left will fit better and will go straight not as long. On the right will have to fit at an angle to fit, have had this style on my old glanza 3.5 tip looks cool however I'm liking the look of the muffler on the left it's different 65mm tip, my Mrs says it looks rude haha. Here is a couple of pics outside ferodo 3 miles up the road from me.

  12. I'm going to go to this, don't own a starlet though:-( so will be in my Toyota caldina and looking at the price for tickets for weekend camping for me is £40 then to display my car Individual Display is £30 on top. Wish I new of a retro club stand that was going then I wouldn't have to pay £30 haha.

  15. I had a laserline cat 2 immobiliser on my old glanza, £150 fitted, did the job, when I took my glanza to a garage every time I would get a phone call asking me how do you start it lol. also a lad on here owned my old glanza a bit after me and he was impressed with the immobiliser too. Here is the kit I had, they do other kits too. http://www.laserlinedirect.com/products/immobiliser-kits/laserline-921t.html
