Yeh this is a one way valve for the brake servo as bean has said, It stops the vacuum exiting the servo and it is directional. You can shorten the pipe but it must go back in and must go back in the correct way round or your brakes will be terrible and wont have any sevo assistance. Gary

Correct, above about braided lines i was refering to braided brake hoses, the rocker cover will be using normal hose without the braiding. Gary

I am trying to get a meeting with a supplier for Monday the 11th of this month to discuss making these items up. As for price, i am aiming to keep the race spec covers under £100 delivered but this is an estimate, if i keep this as a ball park figure its still very competitive with others. As for the hoses the braided lines will be around £40-£50 at an estimate for a set of four. Ill update as i can and thanks again for a continued interest. Gary

Is there anyway i can upload a sound clip onto the forum or another website? It was recorded on my iphone and is on itunes, any ideas? Power steering is also removed in my car, alot of saving both from and weight and engine load. if you are going all out, how much is the interior stripped? there is ALOT of excessive/unecessary brackets and equiptment that arent needed imo on a dedicated track car. The full dash and heater matrix have all been binned. Plastic windows, stripped and de-skinned doors and boot. Also floor tar stuff weighs a ton. Possibly more but thats just off the top of my head.
