  8. Got the car undersealed a few days ago, I think it has came out really nice and looks alot better now its all matching colour underneath. Gary

  11. Project looks good mate, As for the sound deadening, I used a heat gun and a scraper. Just heated the tar like stuff and kept it hot and kept scraping. Takes a while and if it goes cold it goes hard again Weighs a hell of a lot thou Gary
  12. @ Luke, yeh it's getting there now, alot of modding and repairs on body which took a while. Also moving premises and winter weather didn't help, Almost on the rebuild thou :-) @ Ryan, I was there Wednesday night until 7.30 and Thursday until 6.30 so about 4 hours altogether. Ready to be undersealed now thou, and cant thank you enough for your help on the bodywork Gary
  13. Colour won't be revealed until it's painted I'm afraid, Weight will be as light as I can go, I've not really got a target to be honest. I think it will be about 700-800 kg's but when it's built I will be at a weigh-bridge Gary

Another small update, Now we are in the new workshop i decided once it was onganised to crack on with the shell as soon as i could. all that was left to prep underneath was to run over it with a wire brush to clean it before undersealing. Luckily we have a roof crane in the new premises so i winched the shell up to get underneath it as its to difficult on the floor. after a few hours cleaning i was left with this. More rust off to save weight lol, Also removed the fuel tank brackets as i no longer need them Outer shell bodywork is now also finished, small bit of p

  17. Are you running the hybrid ct9 externally gated? Just on the first read of that it sounded like you were describing the dump valve not wastegate? Maybe you are mixing them up, Also a spec list may help? Gary
